Eclipses have always fascinated and intrigued us. They have a way of revealing our insecurities, limitations, and our fears.
There are two types of eclipses
Solar and lunar
Solar eclipses happen when the Moon moves between Earth and the Sun, blocking part of the of Earth's surface . Solar eclipses have caused fear, inspired curiosity, and have been associated with mythology and superstitions. In may cultures an Eclipse of the Sun is viewed as a bad Omen.
Lunar eclipses occurs when Earth passes between the Sun and the Moon, throwing a shadow on the Moon. This only occurs when there is a full moon.
there are four types of solar eclipses: total, partial, annual and hybrid.
Total solar eclipses happen when the sun is completely blocked by the moon. Only a specific part of the Earth can see this happen.
Partial solar eclipse: Happens when the Sun, Moon and Earth are not exactly aligned. The moon passes between the sun and earth casting a shadow onto earth.
Annular (an-yə-lər) solar eclipse: When the Moon is farthest from Earth.
Scientists claim that it does not affect humans directly and only recently follow eclipses to study and examine the impact in has on the natural world.
Astrologists believe that an eclipse can change one’s life.
Eclipses signify significant periods of change and transformation.
Solar eclipses signify new beginnings and opportunities, whereas lunar eclipses associated with endings.
Eclipses push us out of our comfort zones. Its also a time to start over or try something new and to end what does not work for you.
Eclipses are great, it is a time to re-access where you are in your life. Stop worrying about situations that are beyond your control and change and make plans that will make your life happier and healthier. Its about letting go and not hanging onto something that does not work for you.
